Robert is the chairman of the board and Chief Investment Officer of BlueCreek Investment Partners, LLC. A founding partner at the firm, Robert began his career in financial planning and asset management in 1982 with Merrill Lynch. During his 20 years with the firm, he worked as a Portfolio Manager and also as a branch officer from 1996 to 1999.
Robert served as chairman of the board for the Huntsville Hospital Foundation from 2005-2007 and is a member of the Business Advisory Council for the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is also a member of the board at the Buckley School of Public Speaking and the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, and actively involved in the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce. He was recently invited to participate as an Ambassador for The HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, a non-profit research and teaching organization.

Calvin J. Brown has been actively involved in investment analysis and portfolio management for individuals, profit sharing/pension plans, and charitable foundations since 1983. Calvin began his career with Raymon J. Baker and his family office. In 1994, the firm merged with West Ellis Investment Management where Calvin continued to serve families and institutions as President and majority partner for fifteen years. As a Registered Investment Advisor and portfolio manager at BlueCreek, Calvin is involved in investment management and client relations.
Calvin is a graduate of the University of Alabama with B.S. and M.A. Degrees from the School of Commerce and Business Administration. He has maintained his connection with the University through the years, serving as President of the National Alumni Association from 1997-98 and as a current member of the President's Cabinet. In addition, Calvin is a board member of the Alabama Humanities Foundation and United Methodist Residential Alternatives.

Kyle began his career in financial planning with First Financial Group of the South, Inc. of Birmingham, Alabama. He joined BlueCreek in 2007, where he serves as a financial planner and advisor.
Kyle earned his Bachelors degree in finance from The University of Alabama where he also completed his Masters degree in Banking and Finance. He currently holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation.
Kyle is a graduate of Connect Leadership in Huntsville/Madison County. He currently serves as treasurer of the Society for Financial Service Professionals, is a member of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama, serves on the recruiting committee for Connect Leadership, and volunteers with Lincoln Village Ministries. Kyle is also an outdoor sports enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, whitewater sports, and running.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Jason began his professional career after earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Since graduation, he has accrued several professional certifications including Series 7 securities and Series 66 licenses, a Life and Health Insurance License in Alabama, and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation. He has been an active member of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama for two years.
Jason is passionate about giving his time and his financial experience with the community. He has shared personal finance tips with school children through Junior Achievement of North Alabama, conducted complimentary planning seminars to retirement communities in Huntsville and Madison, and partnered with the Huntsville office of the FBI to provide educational workshops to the public on identity theft prevention. He also served two years as a member of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Council. He volunteers regularly with the Huntsville United Way.

Martha started her career in the financial industry in 1980 at Merrill Lynch, where she stayed for 23 years. Upon the founding of BlueCreek in 2003, Martha joined the firm as a Financial Planning Associate and Relationship Manager, her priority is to shape client experiences at BlueCreek by building relationships and always ensuring that investors are fully informed and comfortable with their position. She makes calls to clients, generates month-to-month progress reports, and reviews accounts on a regular basis. She also holds the Certified Long Term Care Specialist designation.

A Huntsville native, Paula attended Auburn University and graduated with a degree in Finance in 1990. Since then, she has worked at a range of financial companies from small, independent firms to large, international brokerages. This variety helps her appreciate BlueCreek's emphasis on client-oriented service.
With over 18 years of experience as a Registered Sales Assistant, Paula combines her proficiency in financial operations with her passion for people on a daily basis. At BlueCreek, she assists Jason and Calvin with clients, ensuring an exceptional level of communication. Her attention to detail, thorough understanding of individual accounts, and genuine eagerness to meet client needs help BlueCreek maintain its high standard of service.

Alan L. Bagwell, CPA, serves as Chief Financial Officer for BlueCreek. He also is the Chief Compliance Officer for the firm, a registered securities principal, a registered financial advisor, and a registered financial operations principal (Finop). For more than 27 years, Alan worked in public accounting, helping individuals and small businesses with their income taxes and estate planning. He is known for his personalized attention for each individual. Alan has served on the boards of various civic organizations. He currently serves as Chairman of the Arab (AL) City Industrial Development Board and the Commercial Development Authority Board.

When Linda came to BlueCreek in 2003, she brought with her 34 years of industry experience in a variety of positions. Having worked as a cashier, bookkeeper, Sales Assistant, and Office Manager Assistant, Linda is ideally suited for her work as Administrative Manager and personal assistant to Robert Mayes. Her administrative duties include managing payroll and personnel forms, depositing checks, and meeting all of the firm's human resource needs. She also supports the advisors by setting up new client accounts, notarizing papers, and guaranteeing signatures. In addition to her support work, Linda's extensive experience in the industry is a valuable resource for everyone in the firm.
37 Years Experience in the Finance Industry
Kathie joined BlueCreek in 2003 after serving as a Registered Sales Assistant for 31 years. Over the past seven years with the firm, Kathie has been an integral part of BlueCreek's operations team. She oversees performance reporting in the form of quarterly reports to clients, as well as institutional database submissions that help brokers and potential institutional clients evaluate BlueCreek investments. Working alongside CCO Alan Bagwell, her documentation work helps ensure that the firm's operations comply with the professional guidelines instituted by FINRA and the SEC.
Kathie has participated in many animal rescue efforts with Challenger's House, where she additionally serves as an adoption counselor.
